Mae's debut single Naked
received over 100,000 streams and was featured on Spotify's New Music Nashville and Fresh Finds Country playlists.
Born with a dream too big for the city limits of Hope, AR, Mae’s only plan has always been to move to Tennessee’s Music City. At the age of 7, she sang in public for the first time, performing the national anthem at a local rodeo before competing as a contestant. From then on, she was the go-to girl for any event needing the anthem in the Ark-La-Tex (Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas) area. Growing older, Mae started performing at surrounding opry’s and talent shows, quickly becoming comfortable jumping on stage with any band. After high school, Belmont was the next step in her Nashville timeline, but her finances quickly halted those plans. Mae ultimately attended Henderson State University, where she earned a four year Bachelor's in only three, graduating with Honors as the first generation from her family. Working full-time and taking extra class hours during college prepared this small town Arkansan for the whirlwind she would soon experience moving to Nashville alone in August of 2015. Four years and up to three jobs at a time later, she's one step closer to never waitressing another double ever again. Writing with some of Nashville’s top songwriters, Mae has a catalogue composed of raw, uncensored vulnerability like her debut single “Naked”, as well as confidence anthems like “Best Side”. She prides herself in covering the good, the bad, and the ugly of life, expressing her stories and the stories of others the only way she knows how. Taking inspiration from artists like Lee Ann Womack and Keith Whitley, Mae merges the timelessness of classic country music with modern melodies and production to form her exclusive artistry. In August of 2019, her debut single “Naked” received over 100,000 Spotify streams, making the New Music Nashville and Fresh Finds Country playlists. Her latest release "Recycled" is now available on all platforms.
